Of Nigerian and Finnish descent, Ima Iduozee is an award winning director and choreographer based in Helsinki, Finland. He has worked as a choreographer for several Scandinavian theatres including Stockholm City Theatre, Finnish National Opera and Finnish National Theatre. He also choreographed the first-ever Finnish NETFLIX series, DANCE BROTHERS.

Iduozee has directed commercial- and brand films for international clients such as Marimekko, OnePlus, Helsinki International Film Festival and EMPAC New York.

His latest short film AFTER WE’RE GONE had its international premier at the San Francisco International Film Festival 2023 and won the best experimental film award at the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards. He is currently positioned as the director for a new drama-comedy series commissioned by the Finnish Public Broadcaster and produced by Helsinki Film. Iduozee is also writing his debut feature film, an intimate coming-of-age story about a Helsinki youth.

Ima Iduozee is the recipient of the Helsinki city Artist of The Year Award 2023.
